My Dinner with Steve
TFW, your first date morphs into therapy
When 40-something Jen finally lands a date with her teacher crush, she mistakes her online stalking for intimacy, turning their dinner into an addict's confessional.
My Dinner with Steve is a quirky, whip-smart, and relatable spin on rom-coms, where Bridget Jones meets You’re the Worst.
Developed by an award-winning creative team, the film unites a scintillating mix of up-and-coming talent with experienced and acclaimed professionals. In it, Lisa L. Kirchner stars in her screen debut opposite Todd Sheeler (Dawson’s Creek; McCinsey’s Island), and Eugenie Bondurant (Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It) makes her directorial debut.
This 10-minute short film was shot on location in
St. Petersburg, FL as a SAG-AFTRA production.
